O Is For ....... Olympic Flame

I am linking this post up with the lovely Charly Dove
and her wonderful Alphabet Project.

My O Is For ........ Olympic Flame.

June 30th 2012 was the date the Olympic Flame came to town.

We had all read or heard on the news that the flame had traveled through various other towns, cities and villages now it was our turn, Dudley was soon to see the Olympic Flame.

As you can see it was extremely busy and everyone wanted a glimpse of the flame to say that they had seen the flame to their friends, family members and even future kids and grand kids maybe.

Well that's my O Is For .......

Stay tuned for my P Is For..........

Afternoon Lego Mixels Fun

This afternoon my wife decided because she'd got the jam making bug she was gonna lock herself away in the kitchen and make jam.

So this was a great opportunity for myself and TP to open his Lego Mixels pack and make whatever awaited us inside.

So the fun began, the kid in me just wanted to take
over and build it myself but wearing my parental cap I stood back and allowed TP to find the parts and with my help (I had to have a go somehow) build his Lego creation.

It's wasn't a epic Lego creation by any means but small packet or large sets it's Lego at the end of the day and it's always fun to make things with Lego right?

Finished creation.

My N Is For ...…... Night Night

Due to the fact my daughter has learnt to climb out of her cot we decided it was time for her to go into TP's cot bed and TP in to a big bed.

As you can see in a big bed TP looks very lost but hey ho his now got lots of room to sleep which in turn means I get a cute pic like this one lol.

Well that's my N Is For.........

Fun @ Play Week

On Friday afternoon we took the kids to our local park where our local council had put on free activities for the kids to take part in.

There was lots to do and best of all it was FREE, which is a rarity these days so we jumped at the chance for the kids to have an afternoon full of free fun.

As you can see they did so much,

Even with all these free activities TP still found time to go on the outside gym equipment lol.

JR even did a bit of wall climbing, his never done it before to be honest but fully enjoyed every minute.

As you can see even mummy got involved in the activities lol.

To finish the afternoon off the organizers cooked popcorn over an open fire and to our surprise they then treated the kids to marsh mellow cook on the fire too which was pretty cool to be honest.
It was a great family day out which we all fully enjoyed.

BOOMco Rapid Madness Review

This arrived the other day to some what excited eyes (mine and the boys) for us to try out from the kind people of Mattel.

What is it I can clearly hear you ask?

Well I'm about to tell you and even show you the awesomeness of the:-

When I was first offered the opportunity to review this item to be honest I couldn't wait, I had watched the video clip below and saw just how awesome this product was and couldn't wait to try it out.

The BOOMco Rapid Blaster is exactly what the title says it is a awesome rapid blaster, it can fire one dart for accuracy or 20 smart stick darts in seconds up to an amazing 50 feet which is pretty awesome to be fair.

The best thing about the blaster I found is how easy it is to use, you simply load the smart stick darts into the dart clip load that into the blaster, pump the air (yes you heard me correctly air) into the blaster and fire away, either one dart at a time or the whole 20 dart clip within seconds.

In case you miss read I did say air into the blaster that's because the Rapid Blaster doesn't require batteries, it only need air pumped into it so you'll never need to tell your kids "sorry kids you can play with your Rapid Blaster because we don't have any batteries" ever again, you can simply hand it to them and say go have immense fun kids.

The Rapid Blaster comes with 30 smart stick darts and a dart clip cartridge which holds 20 smart stick darts, it also comes with a cool smart stick target.

This target can be attached to anything to be honest and the joys of this means the darts will only stick to this so if you do have a poor aim like myself the darts will bounce off the walls for example and leave no marks but will stick to the target so you know you've hit the right spot.

The Rapid Blaster has a RRP of £49.99 which doesn't make this a cheap toy (if you can call this a toy) at all.

At the time of this review the Rapid Blaster was on sale at Tesco and Toys R Us for £49.99, at Argos for £37.49 and Debenhams for £50.00.

As we get closer to Christmas I feel that this must have toy will be flying off the shelves at all stockists and the prices will change even more with Christmas offers etc.

For more BOOMco fun follow BOOMco on instagram here.

I was sent the product free of charge for review purposes and all views and opinions are my own.

Toogiez Review

My daughter loves dolls, she sees hers dolls across the room and points and shouts "baby, my baby" so when I was approached to see if I'd be interested in reviewing Toogiez, I thought that's one product my daughter would love to have.

Guess what? ..... I was right lol.

As soon as the product arrived and we took it out the packet and L-A saw it she shouted "baby" pointing at the doll attached to her new t-shirt.

She couldn't wait to get her T-shirt on, she as trying to put her arms through the head holes and all sorts to get her new baby t-shirt on.

She was amazed at the fact that baby was attached to her new top, she wasn't quite sure how baby was staying attached to the top but she loved having baby attached to her.

As you can see, the t-shirt we were sent  has a lovely heart design on it and the baby figure attaches to the t-shirt by a Velcro strip on the back of it to the Velcro heart situated in the center of the t-shirt.

My daughter had her t-shirt on when she came to meet me from work the other day, mummy said that she was showing everyone on the bus her 'baby', the only negative point being with that (well a moan from my wife more then a negative point) was the fact once L-A had realized how baby came off her t-shirt was she chucked it across the bus because she wasn't sure how to attach baby back onto her t-shirt.

This product is a great design for both boys and girls alike.

Your child can play with their plushie figure or figures by themselves or they can share their fun play time with others and their plushies too.

The range of plushies include five male characters, five female characters and five animal characters.

This is currently a kickstarter project that you can back here, there are various donation tiers each with their own bonus.

This is a really fantastic project that any young child would love to have and I hope they hit their kickstart target and the project becomes a huge hit.

I was sent this product free of charge and all views and opinions are of my own.
