I was recently asked by the lovely Katie offer at Two Under Two if I would like to write a guest post on her blog.

I decided to write post about becoming a daddy for the very first time and share our experiences and birth story with you, you can read all about it on Two under Two's blog ADayInDadsLife : Becoming A Parent,
go on give it as read you know you want to.

The Book of Bedtime Stories

As my boys love having a bedtime story and I equally enjoy reading bedtime stories I thought it would be a lovely ideas to follow up on a book review opportunity I came across on twitter last week via mumsnet.

I must admit that I don't get as much time as I would like to have with the boys at bedtime due to the hours I work, but when I am at home in the evenings I do like to settle the boys in bed and read them a bedtime story.

This review opportunity centres around 'The Book of Bedtime Stories' ten prize winning stories from Mumsnet and Gransnet chosen by Michael Rosen and published by walker books.

This book is the wonderful book full of fantastic stories brought together through a children's story competition run by Mumsnet and Gransnet, where over four hundred entrant's put forward their stories to win the chance to have their story published in this bedtime story book.

The book contains ten different stories chosen by former children's Laureate Michael Rosen from a shortlist of twenty finalists, once the final ten stories where chosen ten different young, new artists were commissioned to illustrate the winning stories to produce this wonderful bedtime story book.

This books is priced at £14.99, at first I thought it was expensive for a story book, but I then compared it to other story books of various styles and age brackets and I came to the conclusion that it was actually a very reasonable price for the story quality and quantity.

When the book first arrived through our post box I couldn't wait for it to be bedtime. When I normally think like that's its because my children are having one of their mad days and I just want them in bed asleep. But that day was different, I couldn't wait to tuck the boys up in bed and read them their new story book.

We have been reading this book all week now, the boys love the different stories and the fabulous pictures that they can see whilst daddy reads the story, so much so that they even start making their own stories up using the pictures once I have finished reading them the story.

We we're sent this book for review purpose only and this post is all my views on the book.

Baby Bear Leggings Review

I recently replied to a twitter post asking if anyone would be interested in reviewing any of their products.

As my little princess L-A is starting to totter about but still prefers to crawl I thought this would be a great opportunity to not only buy her some new leg warmers, but also review a product for the fabulous @NappyKind from NAPPYKIND boutique.

I must confess to you all now that I normally let the wife chose what our little princess wears and what clothes we buy her, but on this occasion I stood tall, I took charge of the situation and chose her some lovely Baby Bear Leg Warmers.

To be honest the range of leggings and leg warmers are fantastic, so many different styles and patterns to chose from. They are all really well priced too varying from £2 to £7.99.

I decided on the Baby Bear Leg Warmers because they looked so cute, yes I as a man said they looked cute.

At the time I purchased these leg warmers they were priced up at £2, which I thought was a real bargain.

The product came within a few days of placing the order and straight away I put my daughter in them for her to start to enjoy them and of cause to see how cute she looked in them.

I will say that for the fee of £2 the product was well worth the money, being as tight as I am with money though I probably wouldn't of paid the original price of £7.99, but and a big but if you are prepared to splash the cash on your kids I would recommend you have a good look through their product range as they are not only very good products but they are very good value for the money you pay for them.

At the moment they have some very good discounts on their products, do you will not only get fantastic products but you will get extra great value for yourmoney

We're going on an adventure

Afternoon walk through the woods

Today the wife and I decided to take the boys to our local nature reserve.

I was going to write about what we did but I though I would tell it through my pictures, hope they tell the story of the fun we had together, here we go off on our nature trail journey.
