My Crazy Kids

Fistral Beach, Newquay

As we had never bin to Cornwall as a family before,
we were determined to cram as much as we could into our holiday.

The one place my wife was determined to take the kids to was Fistral Beach,
she wanted to show them people surfing.

So on the return trip from our day out at Carnglaze Caverns, we took a little diversion to Fistral Beach.

As the weather was a bit gloomy looking we had packed the water proofs and the wellies in the car just in case it was naff.

We parked up, put the kids in their wellies and water proofs and made our way to the beach.

The boys could see surfers in the distance that mummy kept pointing out,
but they were far more interested in playing in the sand.

Even L-A just wanted to sit and play nicely in the sand, watching JR and TP enjoying themselves on the beach.

I enjoyed watched the kids have fun on the beach
and I enjoyed watching mummy take the boys down to the sea.

The one thing that did catch my eye (apart from the amazing view)

Was the damage caused by the floods and bad weather from the previous couple of weeks.

You hear about it on the news but to see small cliff areas battered by rain and high winds is frightening to be honest.

We were thankfully very lucky on our holiday we had rain at night but hey ho we were sleeping so it didn't bother us.

  4. Fistral beach is a stunning beach and it's quite upsetting to see the damage from the storms. I have surfed and body boarded there every year with friends in the Spring and Summer and have always enjoyed it's beauty. Beaches are irresistible for children regardless of the weather, they love playing with the sand and exploring. Thanks for linking up and sharing your fun with Country Kids.
