Duck Feeding Time

Whilst the homemade turkey burgers were chilling in the fridge, I thought what a fab idea it was to take the kids along with the wife lol and feed the ducks

So we put the kids in their wellies and waterproofs and off to the canal we went.

We're quite lucky really cause we only live a very short walk from the very beautiful canal area with its open fields and lovely path ways up and beyond the hills.

Once at the canals area we let the kids feed the ducks and geese.

Once we'd fed the ducks it was still light enough to take a walk along the paths and enjoy the scenery whilst the rain at bay lol.

  2. I love the magic of feeding ducks and never tire of watching other people doing it or when our boys do it. We used to go a lot to the local pond when they were tiddlers and we lived in a city. It was a super way of getting out and some fresh air. #Countrykids

  4. Feeding ducks is one of the best simple pleasures in this world - I think it will never grow old for me, let alone my kids! Watching children wonder in the magic of it all is amazing :-)

  7. I don't think you ever grow out of feeding the ducks and with 5 ducks here in France it's something I get to do at least twice a day, often with little helpers who are staying in the gite!
