My I Is For ...…... Isolation Room
A year ago May my daughter went for a routine doctor's appointment for a reaction to her milk.
This appointment lead to her being sent straight to hospital where she ended up spending the next
nine of her eleven days stay in hospital in a isolation room whilst they did various test on her for various conditions.
Through out it all she remained so happy and smiley and never got downbeat about being in hospital.
Eventually on the eleventh day they agreed that she could go home as thankfully she was well and healthy
enough to leave hospital.
Well that's my I Is For .......
Stay tuned for my J Is For......
Oh the poor little thing!! So heartbreaking! I really couldn't imagine going through that! I'm glad all is better now though.
ReplyDeleteyeah so are we she still has to see a dietician from time to time but touch wood all is ok
DeleteI am glad everything was OK in the end, it must have been a scary time. I did smile at the photo of her with her legs dangling from the cot - that can't have been comfy!
ReplyDeleteyeah it was scary and hard as i was working and wife stayed at hospital 24/7, that pic she was fast asleep she fell asleep most nights like that tbh
DeleteOh, that must have been so scary, we've been lucky so far (touch wood) and no hospitals stays for any of our three. Glad to hear that all is okay now x And, I do love the photo with the legs hanging through the cot, babies really do sleep in the funniest positions!
ReplyDeleteIt was scary especially not knowing what she was suffering from and doctors not having any precise answers, she still sleeps in funny positions lol
DeleteEek did they ever get to the bottom of what it was?
ReplyDeleteWe're still waiting for a definite answer to what was wrong one doctor says this and another that tbh but she's miles better then she was tbh which is fantastic really
DeleteOh bless her, what a horrible time for all of you. I hope she is healthy and happy now :) x
ReplyDeletePoor wee mite. Although the same happened to my Jacob when he was 9mths old. He caught that Winter Vomiting virus and he was deemed highly contagious, so he was put onto the infectious diseases ward in the childrens hospital. All very daunting! The rest is just a blur of IVs, drips, collapsed veins and more! xx

Gosh what a worry that must have been for you all. At that age, at least the children are none the wiser to it all.
ReplyDeleteGosh that must have been so scary for you all, poor little thing. I hope you discovered what it was. POD used to sleep with her legs out of the cot like that, she looks comfy though and I love the smiley photo. Thanks for sharing with #alphabetphoto
