In the summer we took the children to Lego Land, where they went on many different rides and attractions.

This visit both boys were old enough and tall enough to do the driving licence challenges and as you can see they both had lots of fun doing so and were zooming round in their cars like crazy lol.

Well that's my Z Is For ........

Yesterday (28/10) we went to the Eden Project, it is a wonderful place if you have never been I recommend a visit.

Whilst on our visit the children used their regular sentence whenever we're out somewhere of "we're starving daddy" I knew they weren't starving but they insisted they were.

So we stopped for a bite to eat, we noticed in the ice rink they sold chips so we brought a few trays of them to share round. When we got our chips, to our amazement they were sweet potato fries and they were YUMMY.

W Is For ...... Wrestling

I've been a fan of wrestling since I was a kid, yes very very sad some might say but I enjoy watching it.

 I remember when I used to go to my granddad's house at the weekend and watch WCW on the free channels on sky and I also remember when my neighbour used to tape the main events of WWF or WWE as its known now onto video cassette for me (showing my age a little there lol).

I've been to watch live recordings of the weekly wrestling shows (RAW and SMACKDOWN) at the LG Arena in Birmingham and whilst at Universal Studios Florida I went to watch TNA Impact Wrestling being recording and got hooked on that, in fact I still watch it regularly on Sunday nights.

V Is For .... Vacations

V Is For ...... Vacations

Over the years my wife and I have been lucky enough to have been able to go on some amazing vacations both home and abroad.

We've been to Spain and Crete and few times,

 Florida twice 

and Euro Disney too 

and we've holidayed in Hastings and Cornwall also.

This half term holiday we're going back to Coombe Mill as we had such a wonderful time there in February.

On Sunday we took the kids to LEGOLAND,Windsor.

The day was fab and the weather was awesome. The kids got to go on lots of rides and one they particularly enjoyed going on was Atlantis Submarine Voyage.

L-A really loved sitting on my lap pointing at all the bubbles and fish and every now and then I could hear the boys shouting "look at them sharks daddy", "daddy daddy look lego in with the fish" too.

T Is For ........ Trying

The other day after we dropped the boys off at school my wife suggested we should go for a coffee, so off we went to our local Costa branch.

My wife though it would be nice to buy my daughter a drink too so she brought her a babychino, this is L-A excitedly about to try her first ever Costa drink.

S Is For ....... Storm Damage

My S Is For ...... Storm Damage

When we were on holiday to Coombe Mill last february we went to Fistral Beach, Newquay.

Whilst the kids were playing on the beach and paddling in the sea I was able
to pan round the beach and take some scenery pictures, I happened to notice what damage the storms had done to the beach and the surrounding areas, as you can see it was pretty terrible the devastation caused by the storms only a few weeks before our holiday.

My parents live in Benidorm, Spain and when we get the chance we go over on holiday to see them.

Last time we visited we took the boys to an adventure park called Terra Natura where JR had his very first horse riding experience, not being bias but he was pretty good lol.

Q Is For ...... Quest (Arthur's Quest)

My Q Is For ...... Quest (Arthur's Quest)

Whilst on our holiday to Coombe Mill earlier this year we had a day out at Lands End, whilst there we did the Arthur's Quest attraction.

The kids had a mixed response to it they were excited and scared at the same time whilst we walked round the attraction.

At the very end of the Quest you get to pull the sword out of the stone and become a true knight.

Whilst on our honeymoon to Florida we went to the Disney Parks many different times during our vacation. 

This particular day we went to Animal Kingdom, thankfully as we were already married when Goofy got down on one knee in front of my wife she had to say NO.

I say thankfully already married because as shes a huge Disney fan I think she might of took him up on his offer lol.

O Is For ....... Olympic Flame

My O Is For ........ Olympic Flame.

June 30th 2012 was the date the Olympic Flame came to town.

We had all read or heard on the news that the flame had traveled through various other towns, cities and villages now it was our turn, Dudley was soon to see the Olympic Flame.

As you can see it was extremely busy and everyone wanted a glimpse of the flame to say that they had seen the flame to their friends, family members and even future kids and grand kids maybe.

Due to the fact my daughter has learnt to climb out of her cot we decided it was time for her to go into TP's cot bed and TP in to a big bed.

As you can see in a big bed TP looks very lost but hey ho his now got lots of room to sleep which in turn means I get a cute pic like this one lol.

L Is For ...... Lego

As a kid I loved playing with Lego, we'd go the the shop and buy a small box of Lego every now and then like a police car, a speed boat or a helicopter something small and easy to make.

One Christmas I remember my parents buying me a Robin Hood Lego set which really made my Christmas, I played with it constantly over the Christmas period.

I did follow the instructions at first as you do but I later just made things my own way which was far more fun to be honest.

Anyhows before I get lost in my memory bank, 

on a trip to London last year I took the boys to Hamleys and showed them their awesome Lego figures and models and I was able to share my love for Lego with them.

Just over a year ago along with my daughter, youngest son and wife I was lucky enough to meet the lovely Myleene Klass at a mummy bloggers meet and greet.

Whist at the event the mum's were able to have a short question and answer session with Myleene, this is where my wife was cheeky and asked Myleene if she would blow soon bubbles in remembrance of Matilda-Mae.

With the weather as hot as its been lately all we've done each day is open the back door and say "go play kids, go"

As well as the play house and the paddling pool the kids are lucky enough to have a trampoline and this is where my 

 J Is For ..... Jumping comes from this week.

L-A loves being able to jump up onto the trampoline herself and bounce around on it, well I say bounce she normally just runs round in circles then jups off but hey ho she's enjoys it lol.

I Is For ..... Isolation Room

My I Is For ...…... Isolation Room

A year ago May my daughter went for a routine doctor's appointment for a reaction to her milk.

This appointment lead to her being sent straight to hospital where she ended up spending the next

 nine of her eleven days stay in hospital in a isolation room whilst they did various test on her for various conditions.

Through out it all she remained so happy and smiley and never got downbeat about being in hospital.

  

Eventually on the eleventh day they agreed that she could go home as thankfully she was well and healthy

enough to leave hospital.

Some of you may be aware of the Cradley Heathens others will be like who or what are you on about? 

 Well my father in law and wife were brought up on firstly supporting your local football team then your local speedway team which in their case is The Cradley Heathens.

   So whilst at a summer fun day on Saturday, I couldn't resist getting a picture or two of the kids on a Heathens speedway bike and make grandad and mummy proud to carry on the family support of the Heathens.

G Is For ....... Gunge

This week I've gone for G Is For ..... Gunge

These are some pics from our very first visit to Little Fun Fest at Red House Farm, Altrincham, Cheshire.

At the end of the day there was a games competition and the loser got put in the gunge tank and gunged, 

on this occasion it was Alex Winters from Cbeebies who lost and the kids who were 

there loved seeing the guy from the TV getting gunged.
